Kolkata as its capital, West Bengal is an Indian state in the Eastern part of India. The state experiences tropical climate. The main occupation here is vegetation. Rice is the main crop. Jute and Tea are the other crops that are exported. The cultivation is good as the soil is rich in minerals. The economy of the state is quick growing and is the third fastest growing state in the country in terms of its economy. Bengali is the official language of the state. The state has a number of locations which interests thousands of tourists. Such important and famous tourist spots are the Hoogly Bridge, Dakshineswar Temple, Darjeeling, Digha, Jaldapur Wildlife Sanctuary and many more.
